My Halloween Costume…

was the King of All Cosmos, from the video game series Katamari Damarcy. I made most of the costume; the headpiece is tagboard shaped into a tube and strengthened with some styrofoam discs I cut out, then covered with an appropriate fabric. The cape is a purple with felt shapes ( which you can’t really see in the picture ), the belt buckle is just some more tagboard with a hot-glue animal design on it, and the ruff around my neck is lots of pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 white paper folded and stapled together.
